Developing Awareness Through Meditation

In today’s busy world we are constantly reacting to whatever is happening around us. Within this busy space there’s a dream of being able to reconnect with yourself and move forward in a direction you choose – rather than simply react to the chaos around you.
This 6-week online meditation course aims to teach you skills to help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your heart-space so you can get back to being you.
Combining Acupressure and Meditation
Take yourself on a personal journey of reflection and discovery when you combine acupressure with your meditation. Learn about twelve acupressure points and gain a deeper awareness of yourself and the points through meditation.
Acupressure is one of the tools of Chinese Medicine where pressure is applied to a point (or points) along a meridian. When you combine acupressure with meditation, you bring awareness to the point and the qualities it represents within you. Holding a point during meditation can deeply enhance your meditation, taking you to a place of stillness, focus, and clarity.
This 7-week meditation course aims to teach you about twelve acupoints you can use as part of your meditation practise, while taking you on a journey of personal reflection.
Weekly Meditation - Casual or Term
If you've previously attended the Developing Awareness through Meditation course, you may like to come along to a weekly meditation class to continue your practice. This is a great way to make regular time for yourself, especially if you're busy and can only commit to this hour per week.
These meditation classes are offered over 7 weeks of Term 1, starting 5 February. Join for the term or come along when you can make it.
Should COVID restrictions be imposed, all classes will be moved online.
Pre-requisite: Developing Awareness through Meditation

How much: $155 (term), $25 (casual class) (inc GST)

Exploring the Chakras using Meditation
The chakras are an ancient energy system from India that can teach us a lot about ourselves and how we relate to the world around us. When you combine meditation with the chakras, you bring awareness to the area of your body associated with the chakra as well as the qualities of the chakra that have relevance for you at this point in your life.
Including chakra awareness in your meditation can help you connect with yourself at a deeper level, taking you to a place of stillness, insight, and personal understanding.
This 7-week meditation course aims to teach you about the seven primary chakras and twenty associated crystals you can use as part of your meditation practice, while taking you on a journey of personal reflection.
Art Meditation Day
2022 dates to be confirmed.
A fun, reflective day combining art with meditation. Work with crayons, pastels, paints and clay.
There are no pre-requisites for this course - all are welcome (age 15 and over), even if you have no prior meditation or art experience.
Course includes handouts and materials. BYO snacks and lunch.
